At the beginning there was only darkness and silence, with a glow of heat slowly circling around. But as the walls of Steel Mill rose up from the foundries, so rose a creature from the abyss of molten flames, screaming for vengeance. Created deep in the mind of Kari Kuusinen, he envisioned a warrior to protect and oversee everything happening here on the site.  

And so a creature was born, heralding a new age and emerging from the bottomless pit of heavy metal fire. He sits on the Anvil of Metal, holding the hammer and guarding the gates of Steel Mill.

We all at Steel Mill are very proud of this creature. He will be watching over this website with nothing escaping his sight. However, there is one task left to do. This offspring needs to be baptized in the fiery furnace of metal, so that his name will echo on forever in the halls of Steel Mill...
