December 2008

Hi Everyone!

I am writing to you from some 37.000 feet up somewhere over the Atlantic between Brazil and the U.K. Yes we are finally on our way home.

Last night in Sao Paulo was our final great gig of the year, and what a year it has been. I have been told that we have travelled nearly 80,000 miles in aeroplanes alone, that's the equivalent of circumventing the world three times! We have certainly ventured far and wide on this tour, playing many places for the first time; Turkey, Korea, Romania, Columbia, and many more. To all of you who made it to see The Priest, thank you! I sincerely hope that your memories of the concerts are as wonderful as ours are.

I know that this year we have met many more of you in person and many of you have shared your previous Priest memories and experiences with us. It is extremely gratifying for us to hear how many of you have been Priest supporters and for so long, I really do think that although Priest may not have achieved the success of some of the metal giants yet, we certainly - without doubt - have the most loyal and dedicated fan base of any band in the world, and that is exactly why we will be continuing our world tour in early February next year. We will be sweeping through Europe again, trying to reach as many more cities as we can, and then we are hoping to go across to the USA also to try to cover all of the places that we missed the first time around.

Meanwhile I will be hard at work back at the Mill trying to catch up with you all and putting together some new cool stuff! So keep checking in!

Again thanks to you all wherever you are in the world and please don't forget to keep……… Feeding the Flames!
